Environmental policy
Our objective: to continue to develop our activities in ways that respect and preserve the environment
To optimise our control of the impact of our activities on the environment, we have adhered to an environmental policy since March 1999 and have been ISO 14001 certified since September 2009. Our objectives are as follows:- Mitigation of pollution... of the soil, subsoil and air: several dedicated facilities prevent the release of chemical fluids into the natural environment. We have invested in efficient aspiration units that are effective on fine particles (PM2.5 to PM10). Our investments help to limit the concentration of airborne pollutants, which is one of the main goals of the Arve Valley atmospheric protection plan.
- Optimal use of natural resources: … by enhancing the energy efficiency of our equipment and by implementing strict waste management practices (selective sorting, industrial waste…). To achieve this objective, we ensure that every member of personnel receives training to make them aware of our environmental commitments since it is critical that everyone plays their part.
Management Commitment
Management takes full responsibility for the effectiveness of the environmental management system. It undertakes to ensure that the equipment and resources necessary to meet its objectives are available. The Quality/Environment department, working closely with the technical departments directly concerned, is tasked with leading and coordinating an environmental strategy that targets continuous improvement and that ensures that our activities conform with the relevant legislation and other requirements.PERROTTON
